I'm officially publishing our weekday getaway (Monday 06-17-13)!!! ☻

the hangover! cliffhanger summer!

the past few months had been a roller coaster ride for me and babe. we had a lot of petty arguments, misunderstandings and often times missed to be with each other because of small fights and conflict of schedule. it came to a point that i almost gave up on him. but the big G was the one who held me and babe to fight for our relationship. despite all these, we realized that this were all just part of the trials that we need to surpassed together and our love never changed. :D having said that,we managed to set a quick escape so we could have our own quality time and to discharge all the stress and negative vibes. it was a sudden change of plans, but definitely a success! hehehe batanggas city is the place to be! hahaha despite the not-so-good weather we survived that it was an advantage instead. it's pretty obvious on our photos that we enjoyed it and it was really a hangover for me and babe. more chika minute on my blog :D #beinspired #lovelovelove #privateresortandspa #wemissedit #forever21 #nudo #bench #mondayrocks! #worththewait! #blast! #notyphooncouldhinderus

To make it more detailed, it all started with brainstorming of private resorts/beaches in Batanggas our hometown :-D. Originally we're torn between Valentino and Almalin.

Almalin beach resort was the first choice suggested by babe. I really liked it the moment i browse their website. It looks pretty calm and relaxing. The rates were very reasonable. And if there's one thing me and babe considered was the thought that there were only few people who knows this place (that's the secret ☻). We even had our list finalized. I already noted what we need and informed the contact person regarding our stay. Babe would suggests what food, things to bring, travel time, dropping by at supermarket for grocery, he even searched how the road looks like using Google map(lot's a twist and turns)  and a lot more.

But here comes series of unexpected typhoons and consistently not-so-good weather that made us decide to postponed it. We cancelled our trip to Almalin but definitely my love would always have back up plans. He's plan B was Valentino Spa and Resort. ☺
The sudden change was excellent! (Thank you babe ♥) Saturday night, i went at Muntinlupa Country Homes (husband's place) for a sleepover. As always, it was full of fun and bunch of stories, mid night chikahan with dadi and momi (I ♥ them..). We always enjoy being with the inspiration of our relationship. And I quote "eh sino nga ang mas mahal na mahal?"(hahahaha). We slept late. Sunday morning..We woke up late. We ate our breakfast late and mommy was starving (a whole lot more of chikahan). Mommy went ahead at the store and babe accompanied me at the bus stop. I went home and cant fight the excitement for the day after next will be the big day!

Monday 06-17-13 (Day 1)
Being the late "me" babe waited at our meeting place and was surprised I'm carrying a big bag.
(Babe: Dami mo namang dala?) hahaha...
As usual I have a lot of stuff. That's me.. I always bring extra clothes, "abubots" , etc. (Tho we talked about what to bring and even asked babe with  some of my stuff in his room ☺)
The bus line is situated at Buendia. Before departing we agreed to have our lunch their.
But one more thing needs to be done! (MY MANI & PEDI) Along the way babe saw the salon but suggested to have my polish done at Batanggas but I insisted because we're not certain where and we might lack time. But i kind'a regret it because Valentino's manicure and pedicure service were just the same price range.

Neon Pink! (Babe's pick :-D)

Going back..The moment of truth! The weather seemed to favor us. We left Manila like around 3:00 p.m. It was a smooth travel and Manong knows the place so we need not to worry. We're both excited after the long wait, we could have our mini vacation/sweet escape. But halfway there, the heavy rain poured and i was like "Hala babe pano yan??" ..and babe said just calm down. It was 30 minutes of anxiety then what a surprised! (Si haring araw to the rescue! hahahaha)  I cant help but to clap my hands and look outside the window praying not to rain or just light showers. Thank God we made it! A little amount of rain but we were all good.

Valentino is just a tricycle ride away but we opted to walk (take note, under the rain..hahaha of course with ella).  And babe saw it first. We were so excited! specially me! The security personnel accompanied us to the reception area and one of the staff introduced the way, the restaurant until we reached our room.

We were just starting to feel and seized the moment during that time! We checked our room, fixed our things, changed clothes, relaxed a bit then received a phone call informing us that the resto is just open until 10:00 p.m. (If my memory serves right)..so it's time for dinner!
 the resto during day time..

Our dinner was fab! We were expecting that it will be pricey and small serving but they proved us wrong!
Looking at the menu, there were plenty of choices and it sounds yummy but to be safe we ordered the all-time favorite chicken, garlic rice paired with mushroom soup with hot choco and coffee. We want to taste it first and we could just add an order if we're not satisfy (because we're kind'a starved already!).
My love's preference..

But upon serving we were surprised! well cooked chicken really good for 2 persons (nagpapak pa si babe.hahaha) , and a big bowl of soup very tasty (Burp!). Finished with cup of choco and coffee! hahaha (Thumbs up!)

Garlic rice. Half chicken. Mushroom soup. Hot chocolate. Coffee.

  Happy tummy! Happy couple!

We're full! We enjoyed the food and the people were very friendly and accommodating. Manong  in advance offered h2o that we could bring to our room. We had spicy cracker nuts and before I forgot we ate dinner with the vice-gov. of Lipa ☺ !

After dinner, we took advantage of the slight rain showers and had our night swimming ! (pool is open until 12:00 mid night).  We had flashlights! I'm a bit intimidated during that time but I'm in good hands with (Metrobank..hahaha), with babe I meant ☺ ..Cool breeze, few steps and were there! (safe with Manong at the guard house). It was a blast! Were the only couple using both pools tho it's a bit dark going back and forth the pool. We had fun and enjoyed a summer of rain and water.(we were happy! and the experience saved the cold night!). We can't wait for tomorrow!

Night swimming..

Went back to our room had quick shower, watched tv (Documentary by :Kara David "Kamandag"(cobras)), more kwentuhan and slept for like 6 or 7 hrs. (we always ♥ our time together).. By the way Day 1 was BLUE TAG. ☻

Tuesday 06-18-13 (Day 2)
Alarmed! 8:00 a.m. for breakfast. It is inclusive on the package (meal, hot choco or coffee) ☺.

As usual we had bunched of stories shared together while eating and we savored the food served. Mine was American breakfast and Filipino breakfast for babe! Superb!

Garlic rice, beef tapa and scrambled egg.
2 pcs. pancakes, 2 pcs. meat loaf with banana (or sausage).

..The highlights! After breakfast we rushed back to our room and prepared for our day tour and it's a lovely sunny morning! We got the chance to explore the place, had pictures and experience the pleasure of nature tripping. The landscapes and the entire surrounding were amazing. Exhilarating!

Here are the photos collage together..

Heavy rain! So timely, we were able to roam around and here comes the rain. We thought of going back to our room wet taking advantage of the situation but we can't because of the gadgets.
(bye bye room..)
Getting ready..
Babe called the receptionist to inform them about our check out time and we'll be staying for an hour to go swimming. Yey! What an excessive opportunity! (thanx guys!)
here's what I'm doing while he's on the phone.. hehehe
RED TAG for Day 2.

We quickly packed our stuff and hurried back at the pool area. ☻

But definitely we had few pictorials done..

the pavilion..

lovely...

The weather favored us for a couple of minutes. Walking down valentino's place was wonderful! Very stunning pathways and landscapes. One of the staff informed us that there were celebrities who loved to stay and go back here. They also cater day tours, pre-nuptial shoots, venue for events, etc. It was very relaxing. We did not expect the beauty and uniqueness of this place and well-deserve credit to all the people working here.  The entire surrounding was astounding! We really loved it! (we're missing it already :-( )

Heading back to the resort, they allowed us to visit one of the villa that was under renovation at that time. It's perfect for family. You have your own living room and kitchen plus a veranda. They let us come in and explore. Very accommodating! We're very overwhelmed! Nice view from there..

delightful!
Like a boss... ☻

The most exciting part! Our day time swimming! How lucky, for the second time we owned the place (hahaha).  That's the advantage of  weekday getaway!

Man-made falls..

As you can see above. No water falls yet. We initially didn't request it to be opened but how grateful we were, while moving and gliding in the pool we tried to sat down the rocks then suddenly, there were water falls pouring down! Kuya opened it for us. (you're the best kuya! He even took the camera and had a photo of us! Excellent! )
yey!

so happy!

After the amusing falls we're ready for the infinity pool ! But it's all me on the photos. Babe was the photographer. It's all fun and playful time (go catch me!) .
Such an incredible resort!

Babe was trying to capture the color of my nail polish under water but it's better not that way.. hehehe

why me? hahaha
kulubot effect! hahaha

Jacuzzi fever!
But wait there's more! Not only kuya had the falls turned on, when we went on the other side, Jacuzzi was fired up! What a life! hahaha

my  handsome husband!

inverted colors...
my swim wear went green and orange.. hahahaha

What an incredible resort! We had a marvelous experience. Our time together was indeed quality and they made it extra special. We were saddened about the idea of living the place but on the contrary there were lots of good memories that we will definitely reminisce with a smile on our face.
exit..
Thank you so much Valentino for such a memorable experience. It was superb!

..The rain poured hard when we were about to vacate the place. After getting our deposit (paid upfront that you could reimburse upon checked out), we were stuck for like 30 min. and babe asked for assistance to the security personnel if they could assists us going out of the street and in an instant the tricycle was there. Very admirable customer service!
We were starving at that time and we were craving for something hot. Lomi! One of our favorite eating house in Batanggas is Lomi King. Nice place, clean, affordable, and delicious food very appealing to all. Must try!

Seafood Lomi (special), Garlic bread, Fries

Cappuccino

hand's on husband.. i love you..

burp!

We were solved! hahaha tummies full.. and definitely throwing of stories about our mini vacation in between. To be honest we both had a hang over! I told babe that I felt like I'm still afloat and my feet missed playing the water. And he too felt the same. We can't move on reminiscing the enchanting Valentino how happy and delighted we were. The funny thing my husband was actually sleepy! hahahaha (oink).

..Last stop was "pasalubong area". We bought some sweets for everyone and straight to the station. We were so relax on our way back to Manila and me and my husband were just so happy, thankful that we're safe the entire trip and the said vacation was a success. From day 1 until we went home we were overwhelmed and astonished that we survived despite the sudden change of the weather. We maximized our time together. All praises to Valentino Spa & Resort. From the place itself down to the people behind. Such a wonderful place to be.  Our hearts were full of love and contentment.

..Thank you to the Big G up there who never fails to guide me and my husband along the journey of our relationship. There's more to come and from the bottom of my heart I'm very fortunate that God gave me such an amazing partner and I can not imagine myself without him. The place we've been was definitely beautiful and what makes it more astounding was being with the one you love and enjoying every second of it. And I'm good wherever that place will be so long as we're together. I love you so much my husband. Another piece to our love story..cheers! ♥♥♥
