WORK IT!

We all know that being confident is one major key to success. Whether you own a business or not I must say  you need to have confidence in you. In running a business, being confident in the product and services of your own will help your consumers believe in you. They will trust you. On the other hand, being employed can never be easy. You need to undergo the process (I've been there, done that! hehehehe), but you don't need to be nervous just relax and be confident! So long as you're honest answering all the questions that will be thrown to you, you're good.

Here's a very helpful tips from JOBS DB Philippines:

4 Awesome tips to a Legendary Interview
Interviews make everyone sweat. It's that one moment in your professional life where you have to defend your work and the choices you've made to a complete stranger. And that stranger is the key to getting your dream job.

The keyword here is preparation. Here are some tips to help you prepare for any job interview.

1. Look like a winner
Unfortunately, when the Little Prince said What is important is invisible to the eye...
he wasn't referring to a job interview.

Remember that no matter how smart or logical the words you speak, people's first impressions of you will always be influenced by your appearance. So don't disregard it—plan out your interview clothes from what type of pants, shoes or bags you will wear up to how you will style your hair for your interview date.

Also, mind the little details —chipped nail polish and awful nose hair plus dirty shoes might not seem like a big deal, but they can be distracting.

2. Bring out the Mirriam Quiambao in you
It's been told a million times, that iconic moment when Mirriam Quaimbao trips off the stage on her glittery evening gown during the Miss Universe Pageant, picks herself up and continue to walk on looking relaxed and confident eventually landing her 1st runner up.

Keel Calm and Carry lang should be your mantra Walk into an interview looking confident and panic free by arriving 15 minutes earlier and having enough time to review some of your anticipated questions.

When the questions start coming, don't let anything faze you—even if you get a question such as Do you believe in the Manananggal of Manila? – a subject you clearly haven't prepared for.

Sometimes, these questions are actually the strongest part of your interview, because you can show your ability to think on your feet.

3. Mind Your Body Language
Even if you aren't comfortable, portray yourself as poised and friendly. When the interviewer uses open body language -- leaning in toward you or keeping her arms open -- do the same.

To show your interviewers you're engaged, lean slightly forward rather than leaning back, which may look too casual. Think about your hand gestures, and use them appropriately.

4. Keep it Short
You have a limited amount of time to sell yourself to the interviewer, so know what your most important points are and how to get them across right off the bat.

Or read our tips on how best to pitch yourself here.

At the end of the day, you know the purpose of doing

these things. Just pack your experiences, honesty, brave

heart and  CONFIDENCE. Surely, you'll get what you

want ☺
